actually, i also have to say, this song isnt prowar at all
its anti war
he is tlking from the perspective of a government to its ppl
which obviously, from the lyrics, u can tell is a very antiwar msg
and any new listeners, if u like this version, or dont, listen to the Pet
its another version on the Thirteenth Step

no matter how you want to cut it war is something that is a part of human nature because we all havemour own personal vision of wat a perfect world is and most of us will die and fight to achieve it

Sounds great lol!

As if I would care for people, who despise the truth.

But I know people, who were in a “critical zone”. Such a stupid word to say “absolute horror: war”.
One sill have got a psychosis, because he saw known people dying, men, women and children suffering to death. Thats not like CS or a wargame. Thats reality. I can’t imagine, how terrible and horrifying that must be. So, give me another thump down for another truth.
But thank you.

Anajencia, posting your rage message in a youtube video refering to celebrities, famous actors/singers and Bono himself is sure to have results..
January 8th, 2010 at 12:02 pm
I dont really care what the message of this song is, even if its pro-war. I have nothing to do with America, even less with Iraq so Im allowed to listen to this song and go wild every now and then
January 8th, 2010 at 12:03 pm
I just came back from Iraq…my message to all celebrities, singers whatever…SHUT THE FUCK UP. If you guys especially you BONO!, want to speak of war…please, enlist..spend a year or two in hell, then we will listen
January 8th, 2010 at 12:23 pm
@nordischesTerrorWeib lol, they gave you a thumbs down for speaking the truth…..what does any celebrity know about boot camp at Paris Island NC..and if they graduate..go to actual war. Sitting in a studio and getting high and recording is a different world

January 8th, 2010 at 1:46 pm
This is what it sounds like when people play modern warfare on xbox in hell.

@nordischesTerrorWeib
makes me sad that you call Maynard Waynard
January 8th, 2010 at 3:53 pm
I love this song. I really adore it. It makes me sad, scary.. so much! Especially, when I remember, that Waynard was in the US Army..
January 8th, 2010 at 4:46 pm
The lyrics are from the song “Pet” in Thirteen Step
January 8th, 2010 at 4:51 pm
The problem is exposure
Either way I really like this song though I wouldnt mind if it had more for lyrics, but thats a problem with 95% of all music so..
January 8th, 2010 at 5:30 pm
I love how people are so moved by songs like this…but little do they know…bands like Throbbing Gristle,Whitehouse,In Slaughter Natives,NON/Boyd Rice,CON-DOM,Genocide Organ,Lustmord and Nurse with wound have been cranking out disturbing, experimental tracks for years…. This song is good…but strikes nowhere even near the terror of Boyd Rice or the In Slaughter Natives…those guys are almost on a mission it seems to destroy human emotions with sound.

January 8th, 2010 at 6:29 pm
Yeah man…God damn…I can imagine. I never heard this song before now. It’s fucking terrifying.
