Do these plaques eventually disappear with a better diet and exercise or are they here to stay till they burst and clog your blood vessels ?

I wasn’t paying attention to the vid, but I assume they mean the coronary arteries that supply the heart, which branches off from the aorta.

I’ve just read that arteries bring blood from the heart to the organs++, and veins bring blood back to the heart. Have I misunderstood or how can an artery lead to the heart? I’d like an answer before my exam, please:)
