HIV does not cause AIDS. AIDS is a condition which can result when HIV overtakes the host body. Most of those, HIV isn’t real, theories were debunked in the late 90s when protein imaging and DNA sequencing confirmed the scientific theories. The real scandal is that MERK stuck millions of people (well, millions of gays and blacks) with Hep B vaccines that contained live rogue HIV viral material, including live viruses. Of corse they say this was a mistake.

Blood transfusions. Constant blood transfusions provide a supply of new CD4+ T immune cells, which do NOT already carry the dormant HIV RNA. So when those new, no infected, CD4+ T cells are activated to fight disease; they do what they are supposed to do…instead of producing more HIV. PLUS Magic can afford the 7k a month drugs, instead of the 10 dollar a month drugs which are old and inferior.

actually it is detected, but not as efficiently as other microbes, and the immune system fails to completely eliminate infected cells, for various reasons. This video only tackled replication, but like you point out immune system evasion is another important topic
