First off, a fetus is a parasite stealing nutrients and blood first from the endometerial lining of the uterus. Women should have the right to terminate an unwanted, unplanned parasite from our body, especially if it will put my life in danger. Once the baby is born and separated itself from my blood supply its a different story. Did you know I was 14 and was threatened with being kicked out, given to CPS if I would have even CONSIDRED ‘throwing my baby away’ AKA adoption as my parents saw it?
I had no option, and if I threatened suicide in place of abortion, I would have been restrained in a nuthouse for 9 months.

McCain is right. These abortion clinics say health of the mother, meaning mental health. “I don’t want to live and not know wher my baby is, let’s kill it!”
The health of the Woman is just as important…you don’t get to discount that as an extreme view John and you wouldn’t if it was your wife or your mother or your sister or your daughter who might die.

If it was only the circumstances of time period that mattered, why does adultery, homosexuality, and so many other things still stand, though we now have protection against STDs and unwanted pregnancy, and why is slavery outlawed? It would be a good way to erase debts and punish criminals, and even Jesus approved of slavery.
