After decades of unforgettable news-making spanning five presidencies, GMA News unmasks the untold stories behind major events, stories, and the most influential names that shaped the nation — Marcos, Aquino, Ramos, Estrada, and Arroyo. Taking starkly different paths to power, they all ended up in MalacaƱang. GMA News reviews its most unforgettable coverage and takes a closer look into the persona of these unique individuals who held the country’s fate in their hands. Before finding themselves in the seat of power, these men and women were ordinary citizens like everyone else. Each was propelled into the spotlight when they rose to power, made headlines and caught their own share of controversies. Last September 28, 2008, for the first time on Philippine television, all former presidents appeared on the same program with the incumbent talking about how they shaped history. Get to know better the Philippines’ top newsmakers with the country’s leading news department. A first in local TV history, the four living presidents and a former first lady appear in exclusive, one-on-one interviews with the five pillars of GMA News, namely, Jessica Soho, Mike Enriquez, Mel Tiangco, Arnold Clavio, and Vicky Morales, for an unprecedented and memorable coverage. 3. ddiinnaaggaatt says:

ano ba ang mga nagawa nyan na mga presidente?

  4. politician123456 says:

It is capturing a camp of Terrorists, NOT in the sense of capturing or having it annex during the colonnial period of the Americans, Japanese etc. By ‘capturing’ the camp the government confiscated M16s, and other weapons.

  5. NinoyAquinoTV says:

Just type the keyword “Newsmakers” at the search panel and you’ll find what you’re looking for.

For everyone’s information, the DVD sells for US$16.99 with English subtitles.

  6. temiatwork says:

  9. NinoyAquinoTV says:

The best way to watch this is to buy the DVD at retail stores (video shops and bookstores). You can also purchase it online at Kabayan Central(.)com

GMA-7 asked us to remove the full version from NATv or else they’ll file a copyright infringement complaint at us.

That is the problem with you Pinoys over there, very judgemental.

  18. politician123456 says:

He got the economy recovered from the Asian Financial Crisis, from -0.6% GDP growth in 1998 to a moderate 3.4% GDP growth in 1999 to 4.0% GDP growth in 2000. After all the number of peace talks with the MILF and insurgences still continue, he declared an all-out-war w/ the MILF and won and no insurgences happened after the war until the end of his presidency . Be more realistic, wala nmn leader, kaht sa buong mundo na naupo lng sa palasyo.

  19. carlistafilipino says:

Para sa akin, walang inatupag si Estrada sa loob ng 2 taon niya sa Malakanyang kundi alak at babae.

  20. NinoyAquinoTV says:

The capture of MILF’s Camp Abubakar in July 2000 capped the Armed Forces’ offensive that started in March of the same year…better known as Estrada’s “all-out war” against “Muslim terrorists.”

Adding insult to injury, Erap and the troops even feasted on several lechons at the liberated camp!

  21. politician123456 says:

Hey, Ninoy Aquino TV, i love your videos, full of history that inspired the world. I believe that every presidency has it’s achievements and also it’s controversy. What do you think is the greatest achievement of the Estrada presidency(1998-2001)?

  22. politician123456 says:

GMAtv forgot to ask the presidents what are there greatest achievement.

  23. NinoyAquinoTV says:
