The solution, we build a wall around Washington DC and call it a prison because that’s where they all belong! every thieving one of them!

I think the biggest problem is regulation.
the government and private companies need to be supervised, or they will run away with all they can.
Greenspan said for years the financial companies can self regulate, because it is they who lose in the end.
didn’t work out that way.
dems and reps are guilty of cheating.
I personally believe in a more liberal solution

I personally don’t make a lot of money, but I am comfortable and secure.
I am willing to pay more in taxes if it provides better health care, sends a high school grad to college at a cheaper rate.

currently It’s the insurance companies who make desicions as to what you can receive.
They get bonuses for refusing people care.
I am not against insurance companies making profit, but when is it excessive at the cost of people’s lives.

First to xtallake – you really need to redefine your thinking on liberal – the crown thought it was the “liberals” who created the country. I know, let’s just put a label on everyone and then we can dismiss them all and not have to THINK about what they are saying. Oh wait! That’s what most people have already done. Gee, no wonder we can’t communicate even though we have more ways to talk and exchange information than ever before in history.

I AM afraid of this power grab also. It’s not merely a tax increase masquerading as a health care bill, it’s a totally fraudulent attempt to co-opt every American’s right to make their own decisions about their medical care. I think we live in dangerous times.

If you’re so liberal, why don’t you give me some money cuz I’m broke!
November 5th, 2009 at 6:39 am
If you’re so liberal why don’t you give me some of it?
November 5th, 2009 at 6:41 am
You know some of us “liberals” have lots of money. You really need to read a little history about what happens when wealth consolidates in the hands of a few. The outcome is never good for anyone.,
And most of all we are tired or the alarmists who build their careers on creating fear and division.
Time to throw them out. Liberals, Conservatives and Independents.

Free market is great. It creates inovation.
Why let the few control it and crush everyone else.
I’m not against free market. I’m against the few giants who oppose it while wrapped in the flag
November 5th, 2009 at 7:28 am
Freedom is not allowing the rich and powerful few to run and control the entire country
Wake up your being played for fools
November 5th, 2009 at 7:45 am
I’m tired of hearing conservatives saying let business handle itself and all will be fine.
fine for them. They bought the government and are keeping the American people stupid.
The rich and powerful get richer
the poor get poorer and like it
November 5th, 2009 at 8:22 am
allowing free market to run with no regulation will ruin this country as it had in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s
November 5th, 2009 at 8:50 am
yes the rich are running the country
yes the clowns in dc are what they are.
I don’t like the bill, but for the opposite reason. We need heavy regulation and accountability.
We need socialized schools and universities.
We need universal insurance.
We need the financial institutions to be held accountable.
The democrats and republicans need to wake up
November 5th, 2009 at 9:35 am
Why do liberals make such dumb comments. The are soooo angry and jealous of people with money. Its disgusting.
November 5th, 2009 at 10:03 am
Liberals simply dont understand what freedom is all about.
November 5th, 2009 at 10:43 am
You are an IDIOT if you believe that poppycock!! The rich are the ones running this country into the ground, all those assclowns in DC are the rich WAKE UP!!! You are being punked bent over by every politician in this country and you are happy with that????
November 5th, 2009 at 10:49 am
I will not leave this country.
My family has been here since 1740
I want to make this country stronger and better.
You want to help the rich get richer and the poor poorer
November 5th, 2009 at 11:49 am
Hey! We were upset when President Bush expanded government, too. Where were you listening?
November 5th, 2009 at 12:48 pm

Sunmast, she did not say that the healthcare bill was the work of terrorists. She said that people should be more scared of the healthcare bill and its destruction of our FREEDOM, than they are scared of the terrorists.
100wattamp, she (and the Republicans) are not denying a majority of hard working americans access to affordable health insurance. What they are saying is that there is a better way to do it than for the gov’t to become the sole insurance provider.

Who said Re[publicans don’t prey on peoples fears, fears they helped to spread?
