So many people out there want to know what the best forex software is. You know what I have to say about that? Who Cares? The software doesn’t make the trader successful. If that was the case, everybody could just spend a couple thousand dollars on the best forex software around, and become a millionaire, right?

The truth is, a great forex trader could trade on any kind of charting software. Whether it be on a simple, free java chart, that you find so much online, or the “latest and greatest” forex software packages.

The truth is that it really shouldn’t matter. Anyway you slice it, to be successful in trading forex, you have to understand the market. The problem is most traders don’t want to take the time to do that. They would much prefer to have these forex software packages to do the work for them.

The best forex software in the world, even with all its fancy indicators will not teach you how to understand the forex market. That comes from within.

If you really want to start learning about forex trading, (at least on the technical side) learn about price action. Learn how true market behavior works. It can be simply done by looking at a basic price chart.

When you follow the market, you can see that there an inherent patterns in its price. If you really focus on it, you’ll be able to spot the patterns that are predictive by nature. The amazing thing about them, is that there are actual fundamental reasons why these patterns act the way they do.
