Do you actually like going to the shopping mall? Contrary to popular belief, I’d bet that most people don’t. Why? The list really depends on your own personal shopping style and of course it depends on your income and way of life.

But here is my list of reasons why going to the shopping mall is not so fun.

1. The crowds of people not only hold you up from walking at your own pace, but they also make you hotter, get all the good deals before you, and take up all walking space in the aisles. Most times I wish that I had a super loud air horn to blow in people’s ears when they are walking way too slow throughout the mall. “Get out of my way slow-poke!”

2. There is a huge risk of getting ripped off. Often times shopping mall stores jack up prices due to the over haul of stores and mall wide competition. Also, there are many, many designer stores at malls such as Coach. If you are addicted and you walk past their window display, you may be sucked into complete bankruptcy.

3. Sometimes with so much too choose from it turns into an all-day excursion that is pretty hard on the feet and pounding to the head.

4. Parking can be a major issue at very popular malls, no matter what time of the day it is.

5. During the holidays, malls are nuts and people everywhere are rushing, rude, and rambunctious.

6. Sometimes the waves of deals are hard to find because so many people visit the mall, all the good items that were on sale are either gone or only available in size extra, extra large.

7. Usually malls are indoors and when they are it can feel like the walls are caving in because not a drop of sunlight is shining through and your oxygen levels are deprived. Closter-phobic people definitely don’t like being in shopping malls for too long.

My advice for you if you hate them too? Shop online, the shipping costs are worth it.
