Vincent

The animations of the dna transcription and replication are simply breathtaking.

I would disagree that this is ‘absolutely how things work in our body’, for example the cells seem terribly empty.
There is naturally going to be an artistic tendency in this dramatization as well as the inability to display every single aspect of each area accurately.

if you want to say that there is no music in our cell, i agree with you but that’s a real representation or an idea of representation.
Ribosomal transcription is realy cool ! And we can see an endonuclease who cut the DNA molecul for example for synaptonemal complexe. It’s realy cool !
Good job !!

GOSH… I’m glad to not be a women. Even that slight birth animation looked painful. Either way, very freak’n nice work was put into those animations.
November 16th, 2009 at 2:54 pm
Of course it’s a dramatization, but that IS ABSOLUTELY how things work in our body.
Humans are amazing!

They’re animations of what really happen in our body, gooberman1948.
November 16th, 2009 at 3:38 pm
pretty cool…..
November 16th, 2009 at 4:20 pm
this probably isn’t how it happens in our body, only a dramatization…but that’s the point. to make biology and science more interesting for the lay person, similar to Harvard’s Biovisions program…nice job!
